If traveling from Bogotá, we recommend taking TransMilenio to San Mateo station. From the shopping center side, buses marked “Salto de Tequendama” or “Charquito” pass directly in front of the House Museum (we suggest confirming with the driver). You may also take a bus via “Mesitas” from the South Terminal, although this option is more expensive.

The House Museum offers environmental awareness programs for school groups or groups of more than 25 people, which include guided walks through the foundation’s cloud forest as well as a museum visit. Absolutely! You can support the restoration efforts by adopting a tree and making a donation to the GEP Foundation, the organization that manages the House Museum. Native cloud forest species are planted, and you will receive an adoption certificate.
