Below we explain how donations work in our organization. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us.

What will we use the donations for?

• To cover the basic needs of the team members of Casa Museo Tequendama and the Reserva Granja El Porvenir, as well as their families.
• To maintain the jobs of the people who are part of the project.
• To cover the maintenance expenses of Casa Museo Tequendama and the Reserva Granja El Porvenir (food and care for animals, utility payments, etc.).

What are our commitments?

• Each year we publish a report about our activities and the donations received.
• Through our social media (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram), we will share evidence of how the resources are used (photos, videos, etc.).
• If you wish, Fundación GEP will send you a certificate for the final value of your donation. To receive it, just send us the donation receipt along with your name and ID to [email protected] with the subject "Donation Receipt".

How are the donations managed?

We manage the donations directly (via the PayU platform for online payments) and will allocate them to the expenses listed above, according to the contributions received. All donations are processed through the bank accounts of Fundación Granja Ecológica El Porvenir.

Who oversees this process?

The primary legal representative and the alternate legal representative, under the supervision of Fundación GEP’s fiscal auditor and accounting department. All our annual information is submitted to the Colombian National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN) and the Government of Cundinamarca, who serve as our oversight bodies.
